We’ll have a neighborhood garage sale on Saturday, October 4th.
The HOA will put an ad in the newspaper to publicize this event.
Past garage sales have been scheduled from 9-12 in the morning. Although dedicated garage sales buyers usually start showing up before then.
Each homeowner that wishes to participate can setup in his or her own driveway and garage.
Have fun!

A homeowner on the forum was researching our area of town and created a map of the surrounding city jurisdictions that may be of interest to others.
You can view the map that shows our neighborhood and the surrounding city limits in this PDF file:

As we mentioned previously, the HOA will be issuing colored wristbands to homeowners that must be worn during visits to the pool.
To get wristbands for your household, you must have a pool key and be current on your assessments.
Come to the pool this Saturday, between 10-11am to pick up your wristbands. Bring your pool key.
If you can’t make it Saturday, call the Property Manager, Carmen and she will get you on the list to get wristbands.
You’ve asked for an online forum, and we’ve heard you!
This website now has a community forum where homeowners can interact with each other and discuss topics related to our neighborhood.
Currently there are four categories in the forum to get us started:
- Questions - Do you have any questions about the HOA, neighborhood, or the Board?
- Concerns - Do you have any concerns about the HOA, neighborhood, or the Board?
- Suggestion Box - Do you have any suggestions for improving our neighborhood or the HOA website?
- Neighborhood Market - Buy, sell, or trade goods, services, etc. with your neighbors
You will still be able to leave comments on posts like this one but the forum will give you an opportunity to discuss other topics as well.
The forum will be monitored. Any inappropriate messages that include personal attacks, foul language, crude remarks, or other unneighborly gestures are unacceptable and will be deleted. All homeowners will need to help maintain the quality of our online forum so that we can continue to have this useful tool here on our HOA website.
To get started, follow these steps:

In an effort to help restrict pool use to only homeowners and their guests, the HOA will be issuing colored wristbands to homeowners that must be worn during visits to the pool.
These silicone wristbands are bright red and yellow and look like the familiar “Live Strong” wristbands. They have “Harris Ridge Owner’s Assoc.” embossed on them.
These brightly colored wristbands will clearly identify homeowners and guests that should be in the pool. This will help pool monitors and the police enforce pool regulations and identify people that are trespassing.
To get wristbands for your household, you must have a pool key and be current on your assessments.
Come to the pool this Saturday, at 10:00am to pick up your wristbands. Bring your pool key.
Thank you for helping to keep our neighborhood pool a safe and fun place!
We’ll be having our annual July 4th Neighborhood Parade Friday, July 4th at 9:00 AM. Meet at the neighborhood park next to Weatherford and Bennington.
We’ll try and get a fire truck this year but it will all depend on the fire department’s availability.
Come out and join the fun and get to know your neighbors.
The Board of Directors will be meeting on Tuesday, July 8th at 7:00pm at 13108 Rochester Lane.
