“The old key should not be discarded just because the new key has been received.  The old key can be discarded after mail delivery begins to the new compartment.   I spoke with Hilda yesterday and she said a few residents had not obtained their keyes;  she continues delivering to a few old boxes.  Everyone should be able to access their mail either in the old or new compartment.  This process should not cause delay of mail delivery.  The old boxes wille ventually be removed once we are certain the transition is complete.

The Board of Directors will be meeting on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at 7:00 PM at 13108 Rochester Lane.

The Board voted to increase the dues for 2010.  The decision was not made lightly. The following document may help answer any questions you may have.   dues-increase-for-2010.

We have had two houses broken into the past few days.        Please keep an eye out and pass along the word to your neighbors who might not have internet access.   At this time there is not enough interest in a neighborhood watch program.    If you see anything suspicious please call 911 immediately.   The first house was an attempted break in.   They tried to kick in the front door approximately 9:30 - 11:00 am.   The second house is on Briargate time unknown.

The new mailbox keys will be place in the old mailboxes Thursday, December 3rd.  The old boxes will be removed starting the following Monday, Deember 7.  Please pass this information along to your neighbors.

The playground makeover is complete and the park will reopen Saturday, November 21.  We hope everyone enjoys the new structures.   Thank you for your patience.

The new mailboxes will be installed at 9:00 next Tuesday, November 24th. You can begin using them when you find a new key in your old mailbox which will indicate the number of your new mailbox.

Concrete pavers by the mailbox work site are the property  of Harris Ridge Owner’s Association. Please do no remove. The pavers are needed where they are and will be used later at other high wear sites in the common areas. If there are any extras after we are finally completion, they will be offered to members at no cost except the cost for members to haul away. If you are interested please e-mail Rollie Sidla rdsidla@hotmail.com to get on the list.

Lumber from the old mail boxes may be available also. The bulletin board has  been claimed.
