Update July 20, 2007: The pool has reopened.
The neighborhood swimming pool has been plagued by vandals. Over the last two weeks, vandals have scaled the fence and damaged the pool’s filtration system. Without the filter working, the pool has been unsuitable for swimming.
We’ve closed the pool until the filter can be fixed and the water can be restored to healthy conditions.
If you see any one in the pool after hours or any suspicious activity, please call 911 immediately.
