LCRA to Upgrade Towers
Several power lines cross the northwest side of our neighborhood. As you may remember, in early 2006, the LCRA removed several trees to create clearance for these power lines.
This year, the LCRA Transmission Services Corporation will be replacing all the existing steel lattice towers and wood H-frame structures with new steel or concrete single pole structures. The voltage will remain the same 138 kilovolts.
